My experience was amazing very informative. My appointment was for neuropathy I’ve been suffering with for the last 18 months with no relief. The doctor took his time with intake with me and gave me lots of suggestions for recovery.The receptionist was very nice pleasant smile and very welcoming. My appointment was made with ease. I will definitely return for further treatment.

A couple years ago I took my mom to another acupuncturist for back pain. The other acupuncturist was so desperate to get us in the door that they over promised and under delivered. I was told one session a week for a few weeks will help her and this sounded too good to be true, but I went forward with the recommendation. As I thought, my mom had no relief. It seemed like the other acupuncturist was just telling us what we wanted to hear, not what is best for us. They did massage on my mom which we never asked for. She had some relief after the massage but quickly went away, so we weren’t sure if this was the acupuncture helping or not. Hisham Amer was the complete opposite. He recommended a more diligent treatment for her, coming in twice a week for 12 sessions. He was realistic with my mom since her condition is chronic and did not promise results, but said there is a decent chance of improvement. It’s been two weeks since our last session and thankfully my mom is pain free. Choose where you go wisely.

If youre an expecting mother and have horrible nausea and vomiting schedule an appointment immediately. It works! Ive been throwing up since I was four weeks pregnant and started coming here at 6 months. Threw up the whole time in multiple medications and kept going to the hospital. After the very first visit here I havent thrown up since and no longer nauseous. It took about 5-6 visits for the nausea to completely go away. After I give birth I will be back to address my headaches. They also take health insurance! Definitely check them out. Everyone here is extremely nice.

I received acupuncture for the first time today. First, my initial call and onboarding experience was so easy. Mary is very nice and super helpful. Next, I came in to address some pain in my neck and shoulders. The doctor asked questions and explained his process. He was very patient and did a great job listening. I am extremely squeamish around needles. When he inserted the needles, I couldn’t feel 80% of them at all. The other 20% were inserted with a brief barely noticeable pinch. It was pretty much the same once the needles were pulled out. It was so easy and almost completely painless. While the needles were in, I could feel some of the muscles in my neck and back releasing and relaxing. I was so relaxed when I left the office. I noticed immediate improvement in my pain and range of motion. I also noticed a muscle lump on the back of my neck had disappeared. I’m hooked! Can’t wait to go back.

I love my experience with acupuncture specialists!!! They have flexible times including evening (after work) appointments. The service staff and acupuncture specialists are so kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this place for any of your acupuncture needs!

I don’t usually do reviews but I had to because I was in pain and wasn’t able to sleep or do my normal activities and pain killers were not working at all. Dr. Hisham has given me the option of not needing pain relievers providing me with better life quality without side effects. This is my second visit, but I can say I felt pain relief since the first visit! The office environment is clean and calming, helping me relax during the treatment. Ive been dealing with intense lower back pain for the past three weeks. It was so bad that I couldnt bend my back or pick up anything. The pain was really getting to me. But after six sessions, things have improved a lot, and I hardly feel any pain now. The doctor and receptionist at the clinic are really friendly, so I highly recommend it.

I came into my first appointment at ASCH experiencing what I consider excruciating sciatica pain. Not sure why there are so many 5 star reviews for this place. I had an awful experience as a first time patient here. I have done acupuncture in the past and was looking for treating a recent injury. To begin, I waited for 20minutes past my appointment time to even see the doctor. When I did see him, he was dismissive, patronizing, and interrupted me while I was explaining my symptoms and the diagnosis I received from my neurologist. He talked down to me about my injury and the pain I had already explained I was feeling. When he finally got to treating me he gave no warning when he started sticking me and I nearly jumped up off the table. He told me that hed be back in 5minutes to check on me, when after 15min had past and the receptionist came to reset the timer on the lamp without telling me how much longer it would be. The doctor also tried to sell me on bulk buying treatments ($85 a treatment regularly, $60 a treatment for 3x a week for 6 weeks paid ahead of time) which didnt feel right. I will be going somewhere else for a second opinion and some actual bedside manners.

I came here in a great deal of pain and the treatments have provided significant relief. They got me in on a Friday night, staying late to see me and offering my 1st treatment, I cannot understate their kindness and responsiveness. I came here for treatment for my lower back which consisted of numbness and pinching of a nerve, pressure from a bulging disc, I had relief after the first treatment and after the third and fourth time the symptoms subsided greatly on my eight treatment now and it feels like its almost gone. I was very skeptical when I first started acupuncture but I gave it a try. I figured , I have nothing to lose. I went there for special allergy and still in working progress advancing my diet. I can now introduce dairy products and so far I am ok.The service is excellent, the facility is clean. They are on time with the schedule and the staff is very nice and pleasant. What a wonderful experience!!!I was very reluctant to try Acupuncture but after all else had failed, the next step would have been surgery or injection. Im not a fan of either.I had been having chronic Sciatic pain for over 4 months, after my first visit I was able to jump up out of bed and run down the steps. Dr.Hisham Amer is a miracle worker. All the staff are beyond wonderful, super friendly, and very welcoming. I have been medicated for 5 years and just recently wanted to start really healing and get off my meds. I swear even after one session with Dr.Hisham Amer I saw mind-blowing results with myself. I am actually able to take control of my life my head and my body now. I experienced a work related injury 5 months earlier and I have been doing physical therapy which has helped me regain most of my mobility again in my right arm and right shoulder but it did little for the pain that I have been experiencing. I have just completed my third acupuncture treatment and I am surprisingly pleased with the treatment.The staff is very welcoming and the office is very clean and relaxing. The Dr. patiently explained the treatment process and answered all of my questions and concerns on my initial visit as I have never tried acupuncture before. I have noticed a slight reduction of pain and slight boost in energy after each therapy session so far.

I have been experiencing migraines and vertigo for many years, and nothing seemed to help. It was particularly bad this year—I am an educator and was experiencing vertigo while teaching and would have to make sure to be near a table or desk so that I could reach out to brace myself on something to keep from falling over. My PCP recommended that I try acupuncture, so I decided to approach it with an open mind—no expectations. Since receiving treatments with Dr. Amer, my migraines and vertigo have dissipated. I may feel an episode start, but then it seems to fade away within a few moments. I am feeling more secure in my classroom and focused as I teach. Dr. Amer and Rosie are very friendly, helpful, and organized. All my appointments have been on time. The office is clean and exudes a feeling of quiet and calm. I highly recommend.

Ive been dealing with a hormonal imbalance for as long as I can remember. Recently a large ovarian cyst started to grow and cause excruciating pain during ovulation. My OB suggested I remove it. I prefer a holistic approach to health and decided to try less invasive things before I opt for surgery. Ive tried castor oil liver packs, chasteberry supplements, herbal teas etc you name it. Nothing was making the pain each month go away. I did a lot of research and came across acupuncture as my last resort. I did a Google search and found Dr. Amer. He is the best! Hes so gentle, kind and knowledgeable. His staff is warm and friendly and they make you feel at home. Its been 4 weeks since I started and the pain has subsided tremendously. I highly recommend coming here if you have any hormonal imbalances. Im so grateful I found them.

After just 7 sessions my pain in my neck has resolved almost entirely. I had several previous concussions from soccer that resulted in whiplash-like damage to my neck. I was in chronic level 7 pain day in and out, with no real resolve from muscle relaxers, massages, and physical therapy I had previously tried. The only pain alleviation I’d have was taking a lot of ibuprofen, which of course isn’t sustainable. The relief I feel now is night and day! It is amazing to be able to turn my head fully from side to side without wanting to cry. I highly recommend!

Dr is very intuitive, supportive, and informative about fertility which is the reason I can. I was able to get a positive pregnancy test after 1 month after trying for 7 months. I have suffered with severe Eczema for a long time .The topical creams prescribed by my Dermatologist would give me temporary relief but the Eczema would always return . The constant itching and scratching and bleeding was pure Hell . I asked my primary care Doctor about a pharmaceutical and she would not issue one because of potential for severe side effects .Determined to conquer this problem I sought out alternative solutions .This is what brought me to Acupuncture Specialist .Hashim told me I needed to have 30 minute treatments 3 times a week for 12 weeks .Well I just completed week 10 and I have no more red blotches , itching , or bleeding .I would highly recommend Acupuncture Specialist !!!!

Excellent experience! From the moment I walked in the door the staff was very welcoming and kind. This was my first experience trying this form of treatment and was weary about the whole procedure. The doctor was very helpful and informative, explaining and showing me how acupuncture works and how it would potentially help the pain I was having. After coming in regularly for about two weeks the pain dissipated and my stress levels were noticeably down, after my treatment was finished they did not push for me to keep coming back, my pain was gone and they were happy as was I. I would highly recommend this facility.

After experiencing chest pain and costocondritis in my left side for almost 8 months. Ive seen different physical therapists and doctors but nothing seemed to help. I decided to give acupuncture a try. The doctor at the office was super helpful and talked to me about the root cause of my injury. After my first week of doing acupuncture, my pain went down 85%. This acupuncture experience has been awesome. I came at first for my lower back and the pain has dissipated over time. Now I am working on my sinuses.They are draining and I am getting my sense of smell back.This office has created a very relaxing atmosphere where you can get treated in a very timely fashion. Since coming to Acupuncture Specialists my neck, lower back, and shoulders feel 100% better. I am someone that has never wrote a review before for anything…until now. Several years ago I was in a motor vehicle accident where my vehicle was struck in the rear. I highly recommend Acupuncture Specialists in Cherry Hill. I was always somewhat skeptical about acupuncture but I started acupuncture to help with fertility after 1.5 years of trying to conceive. My first attempt at trying to conceive after starting acupuncture was successful! Acupuncture is relaxing, not painful an definitely has helped me manage stress. The staff in the office are always friendly, courteous and professional. Highly recommend!

I have been suffering with knee pain for some time now and was looking for an alternative to injections.Many people I know have spoken about acupuncture and the benefits. Just like many, I was skeptical. What can pins really do? I bit the bullet and sought out Acupuncture Specialists. What did I have to lose? I was nervous on my first visit, but was impressed with the staff, office and care rooms. I have been coming for a month and I can say, I do feel a difference. Its not a quick fix, but over time I have felt improvement and the visits are calming in my opinion.

I am very happy with my treatment. I have adhesion in my shoulder and arthritis in my knee. The staff is excellent and very informative. 85% of the treatments I feel relief near immediately. First coming in i had a consistent back and arm pain for a few years. They have a great team that were very happy to help me solve my problem. Truly seem to care. The doctor is always very kind and willing to answern qny questions you have, with helpful advice or tips. After doing a 24-day session, my pain has dropped from a 9 - 6. After 10 years of off and on chiropractic care and trying PT twice with little results, my herniated disc left me with two remaining options; cortisone shots in my spine or acupuncture. I had a radial nerve palsy injury, and wasn’t able to move my left hand for two months. After my first visit I could move my pinky again and each time after that I gained more movement. I came in with excruciating back pain even after having radio frequency ablation on my lower back and I am leaving with the ability to lift and play with my kids. Dr. Amer has done more wonders with acupuncture in the past two months than pain medication and procedures have done in the past two years. I’ve tried about 3 times to make an appointment. After a verbal intake from the receptionist I am put on hold for several minutes and comes back to say “we don’t have anything earlier than 3 months later, do you want to find something else sooner from someone else?” I think they screen who they take based on your intake and for that is very disappointing. If it only happened once I’d say okay but on 3 different occasions, it’s just odd. Happy for them the business is doing so well they can pick and choose their patients, just disappointing it’s been the same response 3 different times for me, good luck and well wishes to those able to get an appointment.

I have explored many options to help relieve pain. A few places did not help with the pain nor knew what was wrong. Another place believed it was all in my head. I eventually made my way to Acupuncture specialists in Cherry hill where both receptionists and Dr. Amer met me with genuine care for what is wrong as they try and help me relieve pain. It has been a few weeks and the inflammation is slowly going down. Still, Dr Amer shows genuine concern and care for me and has listened to what I have to say to help treat me Best! I highly recommend this place, especially if you havent found an answer to your problem yet!!

The acupuncturist is excellent, he worked with me at every turn of the crazy process of trying to have a baby and was attentive to all of my concerns. The office staff was also so accommodating of my busy work schedule at the time which I appreciated so very much. Although I have stopped coming for treatment (since having a baby!) I do miss coming in and seeing the office staff! you are all so great. Truly a great team of people, thanks for all your work.

I have been very pleased with my experience. The office is a very relaxing place and the personnel is so friendly. I am a golfer and i was unable to swing as my back pain was increasing. I have had several sessions and I absolutely see a difference in my pain level. I am able to swing a club like i used to. Great Experience! I originally started coming in for Morning Sickness and Parosmia Side affects from Covid. Dr. Amer has been treating me for 2 years relative to spine surgery. My weekly visits have helped to kept me pain free. I find the 45 minute sessions to also reduce my stress levels by putting me in a relaxed situation during the appointment. On another note his office is efficiently run. He runs on schedule and you can count on being within an hours time frame from start to finish.

After a few visits the pain diminished and I was able to drive again and bend and move without major pain. I suffered from severe osteoarthritis and visited several specialist, but no one was able to helped me. I came across this practice and from the first day I was treated with courtesy. The doctor has a lot of knowledge and was very understanding of my condition. After receiving several sessions I have been able to move around and walk much better. This has been the best treatment for my osteoarthritis and pain.

I Cant praise them enough! Very professional, you never wait more than a couple of minutes for your session. I am suffering from sciatic nerve pain that was shooting down the front of my left leg, it was to a point where I couldnt sleep I couldnt go to work, it put me in the hospital. I met the doctor for a brief consultation he didnt give me any false hopes, he said he would try to help. After the first session the pain in my leg was gone! Were still working on my back but slowly but surely it feeling better. The Doctor and staff are great!

Accupuncture specialists has been great. Ive had pretty consistent and tough to make go away back pain for a few years and accupuncture is the only thing ive found to make it go away. its not an immediate fix but it helps so much once it kicks in. im able to get appointments that work with my schedule and they worked with my insurance company. i would definitely recommend this office.

I found Acupuncture Specialists online during my search before starting IVF. Never having done acupuncture before I was a bit hesitant before my first session. After my consult with the acupuncturist and first appointment, all of my questions and concerns were answered. I was impressed with the availability of appointments and felt an immediate difference. I’ve currently had 3 sessions so far, after excruciating sciatica / lower back pain. Have dealt with lower back pain all of my life, but never this bad, lasting for a month straight. I’ve used TENS therapy unit, back brace, stretches, etc. to no avail. I decided to turn to this establishment after a lot of research, and after 3 sessions already, I feel unbelievably better. I haven’t been able to put my own socks on for over a month, a cough or a sneeze was absolutely excruciating, and today i’m so happy to say that none of that is the case anymore. I got the 16 sessions package so i’m definitely stoked to be able to continue to come for more sessions. Would definitely recommend this for anybody dealing with chronic pain. It can be absolutely life-changing for some.

Ive been coming here for almost 3 weeks to treat herniated disc pain. I am currently 25 weeks pregnant, and was nervous about getting acupuncture due to my pregnancy. However, this has been an amazing experience. They took the time to listen to me , educate me, and treat me. I would highly recommend coming here!

I have been coming here for close to a month for fertility reasons and if anything it has been the relaxing break i need in my day. The staff are extremely courteous and flexible with appointments. i highly recommend to anyone who is looking for treatment.

A very compassionate and gentle staff. I felt the Doctor was very knowledgeable and did not judge me at all. I suffer from chronic anxiety and addiction, and have tried everything. Its only been my second session and I am sleeping better and calmer.

The whole experience so far has been excellent . seeing Dr Amer for lower back pain . Its only been 4 weeks and Im already out of pain Dr Amer is caring and so gentle ,So glad I decided to do this . Hurt my leg and spent the next few days visiting several different doctors and none could help me and eventually I struggled to even walk. I came into the office on a Friday leaning on my son, barely even able to stand up without assistance. After treatment, I’m writing this review on Wednesday, less than a week later, and I’m able to walk almost as well as I could before my injury. I’m so thankful for everyone in the office for receiving such excellent care.

I discovered Acupuncture Specialists and Hisham almost a month ago when i was experiencing some pretty severe issues with my back and glutes. The knots in my glutes were so painful that it would wake me at night. My initial meeting with Hisham was so positive and uplifting. I felt that I had found the answer to my problem. And, now after just a few weeks of treatment, I feel I am on the road to recovery. The staff at Acupuncture Specialists are so friendly and welcoming too. I started going to Dr. Hisham Amer for treatment 3.5 weeks ago. I see a chiropractor regularly for maintenance on my back, which was injured years ago. I have multiple disc herniations and have basically been treating with chiro care with good results. However, a few weeks ago, I had excrutiating sciatica pain. The burning, throbing pain never ceased, not with chiro adjustments, ice, heat, stretching, all the usual things that would normally work. I was in pain 24/7 , which was also affecting my sleep. At a friends recommendation, I went to Hisham-I am soooo happy I did. Three weeks into my treatment plan, my pain is 80-90% better. No more burning, throbbing pain- only slightly achy, which I am confident will resolve once my treatment runs its course. Aside from such wonderful results, I have to say, both Dr. Amer and Rosie, his assistant, have such pleasant demeanors. Its so nice to go for treatment. Dr. Amer has a soothing manner, always interested in how I am not only with my treatment , but he takes a genuine interest in me as a person, which is so refreshing. I fall asleep during my treatment almost all the time listening to the quiet meditation music-its like a little oasys during my busy day. If you are in pain, do yourself a favor and come here for treatment! You will be so happy you did!!! Dr. Hisham Amer and Rosie are simply the BEST!!!

The employees are very friendly and conversational. You feel comfortable after the first visit. The acupuncture is quick and painless and it helps. I would 100 % recommend it. It as the only thing that helped my extreme allergies.

I am about half way through my treatment and have been feeling better with each visit. I would definitely recommend Dr. Amer! And the front office is always very helpful and friendly!

I found Acupuncture Specialists through a google search as I was frantically trying to treat my Bells palsey. I was 30 weeks pregnant and after being told my a number of doctors there was no treatment, someone suggested I try acupuncture. I called and they were able to get me in quickly. After only 5 treatments my face is significantly better, almost back to normal. The receptionist always greats you by name and is very friendly. They also check in with you during your treatment to make sure youre comfortable. The acupuncturist is to the point, genuine and efficient. My treatments are in my face and there is no pain associated with it. I would recommend this office for anyone trying acupuncture.
